OBLACK&DECKER Stand Fan First Use Safety Recommendation Please read through this booklet for safe and efficient use of the appliance. We urge you to read the "Important Safeguards" section and also follow all detailed instructions even if you are familiar with a similar appliance. Keep this guide handy for future reference. FS1600 IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using electrical appliances, in order to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, basic safety precautions should be followed, including the following: • Read all instructions carefully, even if you are familiar with the appliance. • To protect against the risk of electric shock, DO NOT IMMERSE the appliance, cord set or plug in water or other liquids. • To clean, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Remove all the parts from the packaging material and keep them aside. Ensure that you have all the parts as identified in the part identification list else get in touch with your nearest Black & Decker service agent assistance. Fitting and assembling: Make sure your fan is switched off before connecting to or disconnecting from power supply. Ensure that the voltage rating on the base plate corresponds to the main volt age at your home. Assembling of Base and stand : 1. Rotate the screw in the anti-clockwise direction and remove it from the support tube. 2. Place the support tube onto the base and then install the fixing ring from the base plate. Tighten the screw in the clockwise direction. 3. To assemble the main unit, release a few inches of the adjustable tube by operating the screw 4. Fit the main unit on the adjustable tube and secure it in place by tightening the screw. 2 MOTOR FAN BLADE REAR GUARD FRONT GUARD FINISH Assembly of the fan : 1. To install the rear guard, remove the blade cap and guard nut from the motor shaft. Then attach the rear guard by positioning it on the location pins on the main unit. Secure the guard to the motor body by fastening the guard nut, turning it clockwise until the guard is locked into position. 2. Mount the fan blade onto the motor shaft. Fasten the blade cap by rotating it in the anti-clockwise direc tion until the blade is fixed firmly into place. 3. Open the securing clip at the bottom of the front guard and loosen the clip screw. Position the top clip on the uppermost part of the rear guard. Push the top clip down and press rim of the front guard onto the rear guard. Close the bottom clip and tighten the screw. Operations : Your Fan has three speed control to keep the destred air flow through your room O-OFF 1-LOW 2-MEDIUM 3-HIGH 3210 You can press the oscillating control knob down to make the fan oscillate to position the fan in specific direc tion pull the knob up. The Fan guard can also be positioned vertically depending upon the direction of flow desired. For this Switch OFF the fan first, let the fan come to a halt, then with one hand hold the stand and with the other hand, move the guard assembly up or down depending upon the desired angle required. To make the fan oscillate, press the oscillation pin down. To make it stop oscillation, pull it up. 311 Warning! * Do not bring long hair or loose clothes near the fan, as they might get entangled in the fan. * Never use the fan without the guard in place or if the guard is damaged. Some Do's and Don't 1. Do not touch moving parts 2. Always allow motor to stop before approaching the blades or changing any accessory. 3. Keep your fingers, long hair, loose clothes and supply cord away from moving parts 4. Never pull the power cord to disconnect the plug from the socket 5. Keep the power supply cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges 6. Do not place the appliance on or near heat source or in a heated oven 7. Do not use the appliance outdoors. Always protect the motor unit from water or excessive humidity 8. Operate the appliance only with dry hands 9. If the power supply cord is damaged during use, discon nect the appliance from the power supply immediately. Do not touch the power supply cord before disconnecting from the power supply. 10. When not in use, the appliance should be stored in a dry place. Children should not have access to stored appliances. 11. Do not cover the rear housing of the fan with any cloth or curtain. 12. Do not operate this unit in tropical climate or in areas where the temperature exceeds 40°C. وی تصمیم مبهمه به ما تعريف الأجزاء : .. الواقي الأمامي ٢. مسمار إقفال ٣. مشبك الأمان للواقي . حلقة الواقي .. غطاء الشفرة 6. شفرة المروحة ۷. صمولة قفل الواقي 8. الواقي الخلفي 9. عمود المحرك ۱۰. الوحدة الرئيسية ۱۱. مقبض التحكم بطريقة الدوران ۱۲. لوحة التحكم ۱۳. مسمار أمان 14. غطاء المفتاح ۱۰. أنبوب قابل للتعديل ۱۹. برغي للشد / الفك ۱۷. أنبوب داعم ۱۸. صفيحة القاعدة ۱۹. حلقة تثبيت ۲۰. مسمار على شكل حرف ج ۲۱. مقبض مزايا المروحة القاعدية: ١. تحكم بالسرعة من ثلاث خطوات لهواء بارد منعش. ۲. حركة أفقية لشمول منطقة تبريد أكبر ٣. مقبض حمل سهل الاستخدام . مشبك الأمان للواقي لسلامتك 5. مروحة 16 بوصة لتوزيع الهواء على اكمل وجه . قاعدة قوية لتدعيم ثابت الاستخدامات تم تصميم مروحة بلاك آند ديكر للاستخدام المنزلي فقط. انزع مواد التغليف عن جميع القطع واحتفظ بها جانبا. تأكد من وجود جميع الأجزاء المذكورة في قائمة تعريف الأجزاء، أو اتصل مع اقرب وكيل خدمات بلاك آند ديكر لتقديم المساعدة. التجهيز والتركيب: تأكد من إغلاق المروحة قبل توصيلها أو نزعها من مصدر الكهرباء. تأكد من أن الفولطية في صفيحة القاعدة متوافقة مع الفولطية الرئيسية في منزلك. تركيب القاعدة والقائم : .. أدر المسمار باتجاه عكس عقارب الساعة وانزعها من أنبوب الدعم. ۲. أدخل أنبوب الدعم في القاعدة وقم بتركيب حلقة التثبيت من صفيحة القاعدة. ثبت المسمار باتجاه عقارب الساعة. ٣. لتركيب الوحدة الرئيسية، اترك عدة بوصات من الأنبوب القابل للتعديل باستخدام المسمار. 4. ضع الوحدة الرئيسية في مكانها على الأنبوب القابل للتعديل وثبتها في مكانها بواسطة شد المسمار. ویک شفرة المروحة الواقي الخلفي الواقي الأمامي تركيب المروحة: .. لتركيب الواقي الخلفي، انزع غطاء الشفرة وصمولة الواقي من عمود المحرك. ثم صل الواقي الخلفي بوضعه في مكانه المخصص في الوحدة الرئيسية. ثبت الواقي بجسم المحرك من خلال تثبيت صمولة الواقي، وقم بإدارته باتجاه عقارب الساعة حتى يثبت الواقي في مكانه. ۲، علق شفرة المروحة داخل عمود المحرك. وثبت غطاء الشفرة بإدارتها باتجاه عكس عقارب الساعة إلى أن تثبت الشفرة جيدة في مكانها. ٣. افتح مشبك الأمان الموجود اسفل الواقي الأمامي وحرر مسمار المشبك. ضع المشبك العلوي في الجزء الأعلى من الواقي الخلفي. اكبس المشبك العلوي للأسفل واضغط حافة الواقي الأمامي باتجاه الواقي الخلفي. اغلق المشبك السفلي وقم بشد المسمار. التشغيل : تمتاز مروحتك بثلاث سرعات تحكم بتوزيع الهواء في أرجاء غرفتك: - إغلاق ا- منخفض ۲- متوسط ٣- عالي 0 1 2 يمكنك كبس زر التحكم بطريقة الدوران لجعل المروحة تتحرك. ويمكن تثبيت موقع المروحة في الاتجاه المطلوب حالما يكون مسمار الدوران للأعلى. يمكن تثبيت مكان المروحة أيضا بشكل عمودي بالاعتماد على اتجاه التدفق المطلوب. لعمل ذلك قم بإطفاء المروحة أولا، دع المروحة تتوقف تماما، وبعد ذلك امسك القائم بيد واحدة وحرك بالأخرى مجموعة الواقي للأعلى أو الأسفل بالاعتماد على الزاوية المطلوبة. ولكي تتحكم بطريقة دوران المروحة، اضغط زر طريقة الدوران للأسفل. ولجعلها تتوقف عن الدوران اسحبها للأعلى ه اضغط زر طريقة الدوران دوران اسحبها ل تحذير! - احذر ملامسة الشعر الطويل أو الملابس للمروحة، فقد تعلق بها. - لا تستخدم المروحة بدون وجود الواقي في مكانه أو عند تلف الواقي. بعض المحاذير والإرشادات .. لا تلمس الأجزاء المتحركة. ۲. اسمح للمحرك دائما بالتوقف قبل الاقتراب من الشفرات أو تبديل أي ملاحق. ٣. ابعد أصابعك، الشعر الطويل، الملابس والسلك الكهربائي عن الأجزاء المتحركة. 4. لا تسحب السلك الكهربائي لفصل القابس من مأخذ الكهرباء. د. ابعد السلك الكهربائي عن الحرارة، الزيوت والأطراف الحادة. .. لا تستخدم الجهاز على أو بجانب أي مصدر حراري أو على موقد ساخن. ۷. لا تضع الجهاز في الخارج، وفر الحماية دائما لوحدة المحرك من الماء أو الرطوبة الزائدة. ۸. شغل الجهاز باستخدام أيدي جافة. 9. في حالة تلف السلك الكهربائي أثناء الاستخدام، افصل الجهاز من مصدر الكهرباء فورا. لا تلمس السلك الكهربائي قبل فصل مصدر الطاقة. ۱۰. في حالة عدم التشغيل، يجب حفظ الجهاز في مكان جاف. يجب حفظ الأجهزة بعيدا عن متناول الأطفال. ۱۱. لا تقم بتغطية الغطاء الخلفي من المروحة باستخدام أي قطعة قماش أو ستارة. ۱۲. لا تقم بتشغيل هذه الوحدة في الأجواء الاستوائية أو المناطق التي تزيد درجة الحرارة فيها عن 40 درجة مئوية. المنزلية BLACK & DECKER ضمان شامل لمدة سنتين لأدوات ضمان شامل مدتة سنتين للمنتج اعتبارا من تايخ الشراء Black & Decker تمنح يسري الضمان علي عيوب التصنيع أو عيوب المواد الداخلة في التصنيع. في حالة إصابة المنتج بأي عطال زثناء فترة حرية الاختيار إما إصلاحة أو استبدالة بدون أي تكافة. BLACK & DECKER HOME APPLIANCE 2 YEAR WARRANTY Black & Decker provides a 2 Year Warranty for this product from the date of purchase against defects due to defective materials or workmanship. Motor/element burn-outs due to voltage fluc tuations are not covered under warranty. If the product should become defective within the war ranty period, Black & Decker will repair or (at Black & Decker's discretion) replace it free of charge. The warranty provisions do not cover failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, negligence or non observation of local regulations on the part of the user. Equally, the warranty provisions do not apply where the appliance has been serviced by a person not authorised by Black & Decker or serviced with non-approved parts and this has contributed to the fault of the product. Superseded models without a replacement equivalent will either be repaired or (at Black & Decker's discretion) replaced with another product of similar retail value. UPON PURCHASE Fill in the Warranty Registration Card with the original Authorised Dealer's stamp (indicating date of purchase) and attach your purchase receipt to it. Retain in case of claims in the future. MAKING A CLAIM Take your defective product together with the Warranty Registration Card & purchase receipt to your local service Centre. You can either do this in person or send it freight prepaid. If mailing or shipping your appliance, ensure and remove all the water and pack it carefully in a sturdy car ton with enough packing material to prevent damage.
