Using the ribs on the bottom of the base as a grip, unscrew the bottom (counter clockwise) and remove cap. Insert batteries as described in compartment, observing the cautions that follow. Replace the cap. Note: Use only "AA" alkaline dry cell batteries in this unit. CAUTIONS • When replacing the "AA" alkaline dry cell batteries: DO NOT mix old and new batteries. OPERATING THE UNIT Position the unit as desired. Press the HIGH/OFF/LOW Pushbutton on the side of the unit. Pressing once turns the unit ON in LOW setting (6 LEDs light). Pressing a second time puts the unit in HIGH setting (all 14 LEDs light). Pressing a third time turns the unit OFF. USING THE HANGING HOOK The 360° Swivel Hanging Hook allows you to position the Bright Bar™ for convenient, hands-free operation. CAUTION: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF PROPERTY DAMAGE: • When Hanging Hook is in use, do not shake light. • When light is hung by the Hanging Hook, do not shake the light or object that it is hanging from.
